Welcome to the new Digital Directions blog from the UKCLE. Here you will find discussion related to e-learning for legal academics as well as the other related subjects. You will also be able to comment and contribute to this blog, receive regular updates and subscribe to podcasts using the links on the right hand side column.
We are delighted to announce the re-launch of Digital Directions, a blog for all law lecturers who are enthusiatic or just curious about e-learning. The blog was originally launched out of a belief that there is a growing number of staff in law schools who are experimenting, or thinking about experimenting, with technology in their teaching. This may be for example using podcasting, video lectures or virtual learning discusion groups. We felt there was a need for a friendly, casual environment whereby such colleagues could share experiences, anxieties and successes. The blog therefore is open to all to post either short spontaneous messages or more lengthy accounts. You may wish to get some advice of helpful guides to e-learning, to share notes on favourites websites or simply flag up something that is taking place in your university or has caught your eye in the national press.
The blog authors will respond to the discussion and at least one of us will post on a reguarly basis but we want this to be your forum where a wide range of views and levels of expertise can be expressed. In this way we hope to see the growth of learning communities which are supportive and collaborative. In essence therefore we hope the discussions will be open-ended and with no set agenda. Sharing our ideas in this way we can be better informed, perhaps even improve our practice or maybe simply enjoy a little light hearted conversation with like-minded people. We do accept that there will be many levels of participation and that some of you may just want to read the postings initially until you are ready to put up a message yourself. At this very early stage we also welcome any suggestions you may have about the layout of the blog or new categories for discussion. There is a comment facility at the bottom of this page which allows you to leave comments for us to read, or if you are initially reluctant to post up message to the whole readership you are very welcome to email either or both of us.
We look forward to hearing from you!

This is a perfect time to confess that you surprised me with your good enough data just about this good post. Thence, we will attempt to compose the phd thesis on the ground of your article. Or credibly, that’s achievable to determine some dissertation writing service.

Hi,
Throught the UKCLE newletter I learned that you started this blog. I am happy to see that some of the people I met at the BILETA conference are involved in this initiative. I am very happy with the opportunities they BILETA has offered my to share ideas on information skills in legal education. This resulted in a contribution on wikis in legal education in a special issue of JILT. I look forward to any comments and I hope to contribute to your blog from the Netherlands now and then.
Best regards,
Esther Hoorn
